Construction dewatering, the temporary lowering of the groundwater by pre-drainage methods, has been practiced by Moretrench for more than 80 years and the company is recognized as an innovator and industry leader in the field. Pre-drainage dewatering is widely used for deep excavations and to facilitate tunneling applications.
Groundwater control can also be provided by the installation of structural subsurface barriers or by ground modification methods. In addition to construction applications, groundwater control methods can be used for environmental containment and structural seepage control.
